100 MILE LUNCHES

Happy 2016

Happy New Year to Everyone.

Happy New Year to Everyone!

As we head at full throttle towards February (what the?!), we trust you all enjoyed a safe, happy and insanely relaxing Christmas break and that the transition back to everyday life has been nothing short of sweet and gentle.

2015 was a cracker of a year for us. We enjoyed cafe life and all the great individuals that walk through our roller door, we cooked and pickled and juiced and preserved, we travelled a bit here and there (NZ, Indo, Yamba, Sydney…OK so let’s work on exotic travel this year), worked with some of the best people on the planet and generally just really liked all those we worked and played with and served long table feasts to on their wedding days.
…and as we like to end things with a bang, our very last event of 2015 was a private cocktail party for Crown Prince Fred and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark along with their Australian and Danish families. Yep, icing on the cake and all that. It was a thrill to be perfectly honest and our thanks to the beautiful folk at Byron Luxury Beach Houses who helped bring it all together.
We now look forward to more of the same with a cherry on top in 2016. So let’s kick start things with our first pop up dinner of the year.
The lovely Rosa has joined our kitchen team and we are thrilled to have her and her beautiful cooking skills here. It seems only natural, in this instance, to visit Italy then. Join us as we take a trip (figuratively speaking) to Rosa’s birth place of Carota and indulge in the food of Southern Italy and beyond.
Thursday February 25
6.30pm
Tickets $70pp BYO
Rosa is working on the menu now but those who have dipped into her tiramisu recently will know she doesn’t do things by halves, so book on in. Seats are limited, email food@100miletable.com to book a space.

That’s about it for now folks. More news coming your way this year – our resolutions include communicating more with you all, cooking harder and faster than ever before, cloning Francis Mallmann and those clever dudes from Hartwood – and drinking less Stone and Wood (not really).
Happy 2016 – may it be full of epicness,
Jeremy, Sarah and the team. x
